“Honesty is the corner stone of character. The honest man or woman seek no merely to avoid criminal or illegal acts, but to be scrupulously fair, upright, fearless In both action and expression, honesty pays dividends both in dollars and in peace of mind.”
-B.C. Forbes

Forbes I believe is correct. Honesty and character go hand in hand. When you are honest you don’t only tell the truth you strive to make sure that everything that is right is done. A true honest person stand up for what is right and goes on to make sure that honesty goes everywhere. They also make sure that everything that is true never gets undermined.

Honesty is always the best policy. Employers need to know that they can trust you with everything from company credits cars to trade secrets. How can you work honestly? You demonstrate integrity every day that you do your own homework and resist the temptation to cheat on exams.
 What is honesty?
-Honesty is telling the truth. ·
-Honesty is straightforward conduct.
-Honesty is being sincere, truthful, trustworthy, honorable, fair, genuine, and loyal with integrity.
You are being honest when you….

-Keep your eyes on your own paper.
-Clean up your room after making a promise.

“Stop worrying about whether you’re going to win or lose and focus your full attention on what is happening right this moment.”
-Phil Jackson

Phil Jackson is correct you need to focus on the now. When you focus on what’s happening now you don’t have to worry about the future because you do what needs to be done now to make the future better. If you worry about what happens later on you will be distracted and end up never achieving what you want. Like in any sport like Jackson states don’t focus on winning and losing, this is because when you do that you worry and mess up. Therefore if you just focus on the now you will be able to achieve anything.

Time management

Time Management

Master the moments and you may be real pro when it comes to juggling the many demands on your time-classes, homework and activities – with some family help. Colleges give you an even bigger chance to sharpen your time management skills by doing it all on your own. And that’s a good thing since most jobs require multitasking. You might need to take care of current clients while attracting new ones, respond to e-mail while working on a major presentation, or order tomorrow’s produces while planning next week’s menu.
Someone said, “Wherever you are, be there.” Focus on the present moments and give it all your attention. Don’t let your mind drift and wonder here and their when you need to be thinking and concentrating on the moments, so make the most of it while it NOW. Master the present and you will master the future. Work smart by mastering the present moments.

“Truth is the only safe ground to stand up on.”
-Elisabeth Cady Stanton

This is absolutely true. In life almost everything is uncertain and you must tread lightly and beware of everything. However one thing allows you to put both feet firmly on the ground. That is truth. Truth allows people to communicate and feel safe. When you tell the truth all the time you will be able to provide a place where people can put both feet on the ground.

Detail attention

Attention to detail
7 of 10
When you double check your calculations for math problems or cite source carefully in a research paper, you’re paying close attention to detail. That skill comes in handy in any work place, whether you’re maintaining a database, keep a log of the hours you spend with clients or write email.
John wooden, UCLA’s former great basketball coach who led his team to ten consecutive national championships, was asked what he attributed his success to. Among a number of things, he mentioned that paying attention to details was one of the most important qualities for successful coaching and for high achievement in any worthwhile purist.  He even paid attention to how his player would lace up and tie their shoe strings. If they didn’t tie them correctly, he would teach them how.
Detail may be small things, but form small things to details come great things; therefore, pay attention to details and you will experience substantial progress in your overall educational attainment.

“Everyone is their own architect of their own learning.”
-Claudius

This is absolutely right. When it boils down to the thick of it everything is up to you. No one can force you to learn in school. The only person that can make you learn and succeed in school is you the student. Also as you grow and go to college the person that picks what you learn about(what major you pick) is only you. Also once as an adult you can choose to learn or ignore whenever someone is trying to teach you. That is why you need to do the right thing and make sure your building is massive and full of knowledge.
