Colleges give you an even bigger chance to sharpen your time management skills by doing it all on your own. And that’s a good thing since most jobs require multitasking. You might need to take care of current clients while attracting new ones, respond to e-mail while working on a major presentation, or order tomorrow’s produces while planning next week’s menu.

Someone said, “Wherever you are, be there.” Focus on the present moments and give it all your attention. Don’t let your mind drift and wonder here and their when you need to be thinking and concentrating on the moments, so make the most of it while it NOW. When you double check your calculations for math problems or cite source carefully in a research paper, you’re paying close attention to detail. That skill comes in handy in any work place, whether you’re maintaining a database, keep a log of the hours you spend with clients or write email.         

John wooden, UCLA’s former great basketball coach who led his team to ten consecutive national championships, was asked what he attributed his success to. Among a number of things, he mentioned that paying attention to details was one of the most important qualities for successful coaching and for high achievement in any worthwhile purist.  He even paid attention to how his player would lace up and tie their shoe strings. If they didn’t tie them correctly, he would teach them how.

  Detail may be small things, but form small things to details come great things; therefore, pay attention to details and you will experience substantial progress in your overall educational attainment.

Very few students enjoy taking test. Yet functioning well under pressure is crucial to your future success. Try thinking of the pressure of testing as practice for the work world’s own explosive situations. You could someday find yourself meeting tight deadlines, speaking with irate customers, wielding a scalpel or handling dangerous chemicals.

The best way to curtail pressure to even eliminate it is to prepare. Apply the motto “Be prepared” holds true first time and every time. Prepare for that test, and you won’t worry about it. In fact, it will be your chance to shine, to reveal the hard work you have put into preparing for the test. You will be rewarded for the effort you have thrust into your studies. Preparation removes fear. When you are prepared, you will not fear. Preparation helps you maintain your cool under pressure. Preparation generates energy and enthusiasm; therefore prepare and coolness under pressure is sure to abound.

Every time you respond in class, every time you choose your own research topic, every time you put together your own interpretation of a piece of literature, you take initiative. And future employers value can-do professionals who come up with new ideas and chart their own course through projects, employees who are self-relentless. Self-relentless people are self-starters who don’t procrastinate on getting the job done. They know what is required and do it. They don’t wait to be told many times. It is know that monks who concentrate and train all their life to be able to do incredible things like index finger stands, or breaking a coconut with their finger.

When problems or challenges occur, some people look at them at negative experiences, as a crisis. These people are the ones who live day by day with gloom and negativism in their attitude. Imagination allows us you spread our wings dream and gives us the hope to become better. I use to imagine going to a state championship all the time. That thought lead me to work hard and now my team is a contender for the Californian state championship for lacrosse.

This is very true. Failing can lead to victory if you take the opportunity to change it. The only way to do that is through courage and hard word. On my team when I just joined we lost the game but we did not stop. Through that loss we worked harder and didn’t give up and now we are southern Californian state champions. Then soon to be all Californian state champions.

This is true and will always be true. The only way to get something is through work. The achievement you want to reach is not just going to happen you have to go out and seize it. When you work hard that is when things start to go your way. My coach told us once we started out decent into state championship last week he said that what happened before doesn't matter and the only way to be number one and keep the bulls-eye  on our back is to work hard and always give it our all.

Make a judgment about the sit’s and responsibilities based on your own analysis of the site on the information it contains. Here are some ways to do this:

-Look for facts you know or can check with a trusted source. If the site gets those facts right, it’s more likely that the other facts on the site are also accurate.

-Study the language used. Is it angry, satiric or overly impassioned? This may indicate that the site is biased.

-Consider whether the arguments are logical and backed up by evidence, and whether the site presents only one point of view.

-Check the links of the source that the author acknowledges. Scholarly writings, whether in print or online, should include a bibliography

Smith is completely correct when she says this. The right thing is not always honored and is the popular thing to do. However that does not mean that people should give up on doing what is right. When you see something wrong you need to stand up and say something because when you stand up for what is right you show that you have good character and that takes you places. If you missed an assignment you should tell the teacher that you missed it and that character of honesty and great morals will end up helping you.

This is very true effort can take you anywhere you want. It doesn't matter if the person next to you is smart if they don’t have as much effort as you do you will go farther. When you learn something new and don’t get a hang of it you don’t give up you try harder. The people that are experts of what they do try harder and harder each time they do it and put all of their effort into it. When my brother first got into music he was pretty bad. However he wants to pursue a career in music and puts tons of effort in when he play and has become very skilled.
