and not to do it is want of courage.”

What this quote is saying is that if you do not do what is
right even though you are given the opportunity mean you lack in courage. I believe
this is very true. If you do not stand up for your beliefs or what you think is
right who will? When you are in a situation where you see what is right the
only way to prove you have courage you is to do that thing and show everyone.
