Smith is completely correct when she says this. The right
thing is not always honored and is the popular thing to do. However that does
not mean that people should give up on doing what is right. When you see
something wrong you need to stand up and say something because when you stand
up for what is right you show that you have good character and that takes you
places. If you missed an assignment you should tell the teacher that you missed
it and that character of honesty and great morals will end up helping you.
